BOOKING & SERVICE TERMS

Clear terms. Confident bookings.

Our mobile service, booking, cancellation, warranty and vehicle-authorisation policies.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

These terms cover the mobile services, bookings, warranties and vehicle authorisation provided by CircuitDrive Automotive Ltd, trading as CircuitDrive Automotive (“CircuitDrive”, “we”, “us” or “our”). An enquiry is not a confirmed booking or permission to begin work. Please read these terms before agreeing to a service.

Travel & mobile service

We provide a mobile service across the North West of England. There is no additional travel charge for jobs within our North West service area: the service price shown or quoted is the price you pay. Where a price is advertised as a starting price, the final service price is agreed after checking your vehicle and requirements, without an additional North West travel charge.

We may also travel outside the North West. For appointments outside our standard North West service area, we provide the total price upon enquiry, based on the location and service required, before you book.

Booking, deposits & cancellations

Your booking is confirmed once vehicle compatibility, the agreed service and price, and the appointment date and time have been confirmed.

Some services may require a deposit. We state the amount before payment and deduct it from the final amount due. Deposits may cover software licences, activation products, parts or other items purchased specifically for your vehicle.

Cancellations or rearrangements notified at least 24 hours before the appointment can normally be rearranged without an additional charge. For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, we may retain some or all of the deposit where costs have already been incurred or the appointment slot cannot reasonably be filled.

Costs already incurred for vehicle-specific parts, licences, activation products or other special-order items may be non-refundable, but only where legally permitted. An item being ordered for your vehicle does not automatically remove a statutory cancellation or refund right.

If we arrive at the agreed location and cannot access your vehicle or contact you, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit may be retained on the same basis.

Any retained amount must be reasonable and reflect losses directly resulting from the cancellation, after reasonable steps to reduce those losses. We explain any deduction and refund the balance; a deposit is not automatically forfeited. These conditions do not override your statutory rights.

If an unexpected compatibility issue is discovered, we explain it before carrying out additional work or making any additional charge. If we cannot provide the agreed service, we discuss the options and any refund due under your statutory rights.

Your statutory cancellation rights

Where UK consumer law gives you a cooling-off period for a distance or off-premises contract, it takes priority over the 24-hour policy above. For service contracts this is normally 14 days from making the contract; different rules can apply to goods, digital content and legally exempt items. We provide the applicable cancellation information before you commit to a booking.

If you want work to start during a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain any express request and acknowledgement required by law separately. Accepting these terms or submitting an enquiry is not that request and does not waive cancellation rights. Any payment for work performed before cancellation, or loss of a cancellation right after full performance or digital supply, applies only where the legal requirements have been met.

To cancel or rearrange, email enquiries@circuitdrive.co.uk, call 07368 604478 or contact us on WhatsApp. Give your name, vehicle registration and appointment details. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient; you do not have to use particular wording.

Warranty & support

These warranties exclude problems caused by pre-existing faults, misuse, impact, water ingress, unrelated electrical faults, battery failure, third-party modifications or repairs, unauthorised removal, subsequent dealer or manufacturer software updates, or alterations made after our work. Exclusions apply only where the problem is caused by the excluded event; they do not remove responsibility for faults caused by our own work.

For support, contact enquiries@circuitdrive.co.uk with your booking or invoice reference and a description of the fault so we can assess it and agree the next steps. Nothing in these warranty terms limits your statutory rights, including rights relating to faulty goods or services not carried out with reasonable care and skill. The warranty periods do not replace or shorten those rights.

Vehicle authorisation & customer responsibilities

By authorising work, you confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner’s permission. You authorise CircuitDrive to access its infotainment, diagnostic and electronic systems as reasonably necessary for the agreed service.

Before work starts, disclose known faults, warning lights, aftermarket modifications, previous coding and relevant electrical issues. Make sure we can safely access the vehicle at the agreed location and contact you during the appointment.

We take reasonable care and skill when working on your vehicle. We are not responsible for faults caused by pre-existing defects, undisclosed issues, third-party modifications, previous coding, battery failure, manufacturer software updates or unrelated vehicle systems, except to the extent that our own breach of duty caused or contributed to the problem.

If an unexpected fault or compatibility issue occurs, we may stop work and discuss it with you before continuing. We will not undertake additional work or make an additional charge without your approval.

Future manufacturer or dealer software updates may overwrite or alter coding and software changes. Restoring those changes may require a fresh compatibility assessment and a separately agreed service; no additional charge will be made without your approval.

Your rights & questions

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you have questions about these terms, a booking or our work, email enquiries@circuitdrive.co.uk or call 07368 604478. See our Privacy Policy for how we use your details.
